My name is Jean Breuler and I live in East Haddam, CT. I have lived there fairly contented for the last 27 years. Beginning approximately 2 years ago, we began to notice problems with odors of wood smoke. First with residents using indoor wood stoves. This year has been unprecedented in the burning of brush, camp fires, wood chip and pellet grills, chimenas and OWFs. There is hardly a day that goes by where we are not...  More >>

We the people SAY NO........ NO MORE TAXES. My God we are drowning out here, and now we won't to tax radio stations on every song they play. This is a deal breaker for me! Next thing you know and we will be taxing people every time we flush our toilets. Please stop this madness! I won't be able to retire until I'm...  More >>

Tonight at Farmingdale H.S. at 7 p.m.(January 12th) there is a meeting of residents opposing the proposition of a home to house sexual preditors directly in a very highly populated are where children are - all the time - Adventureland, Wood Kingdom, and several nursery schools. I really hope that congressman King can come and help his constituents in their endeavor to block this from happening. Cablevision will be there...  More >>

I have recently heard of a law being considered to take away some of the public air waves and sell or give to cellular use. I am the Public and I think it is a terrible idea. Some people only have tv access through thru air and can't afford the dishes or cable. Also the public broadcasting is subject to public opinion and therefore the content can be regulated according to moral and ethical standards. I think that there...  More >>

Dear Joe Donnelly, I have repeatedly tryed to contact Govenor Mitch Dannels with no response, so i thought I'd try you. In 2000 I was charged with a class C fellony burglary and convicted to do 3 years. I did 6 months in county lock up and was moved to work release. There i did roughly 3 months and was put on home detention for about 1 month. After that I did my probation and paid all restitution. I have been clear...  More >>

So much for professionalism and honor! The recent news about your disgusting sexual misconduct left me absolutely ashamed to be associated with you as a member of the Republican party. Who you have sex with is none of my business, except when it involves your position as a public servant. I am not naive enough to think that all is as it was with the Puritans in Sacramento, but 1) having sex with a lobbyist (who's trying...  More >>
YouTube is quite the phenomena. Another Town Hall meeting posted, this time in Tampa. Absolute chaos. The doors were shut to the public. The anger was evident. It seemed almost to become a riot. I saw the faces of the people, the American people - Looking for answers, yet unable to hold in their frustration. They are not idiots. They are not hoodlums. They are not (I believe) desperate Republicans - as I am certain there...  More >>

The airwaves are abuzz with the possibililty that taxes might have to be raised on middle-class wage earners in this country. It seems as though some in the media have a filter where "possibility" becomes "reality" and there are those who have already declared that this administration is going to raise taxes on the middle-class. There is no legislation in the works to actually raise taxes, but that doesn't stop the...  More >>
