Ms. Turner and fellow senators, your vote in the matter before you, regarding same sex marriage was not properly representing the people you were elected to. It seems to me that personal views have clouded the issue. As it stands civil unions do not grant equality. I believe this matter should be addressed or you should not be re-elected to represent us. I realize there are matter. So please take up the matter properly...  More >>

Marraige is not a civil right any more than is the color of my skin - or yours. I don't decide to be labeled as "black" or "red" just because I think it is cool! Marraige is a state of existence when a man and a woman join their two individual lives into one life. As such they give themselves unconditionally to each other - body, soul, and spirit. This joining was part of human creation and serves the purpose of...  More >>

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Statistics do not prove Truth Truth is not subjective The intent of marriage is creation of others to worship God and God is Jesus Christ and the message he brings which is in a dozen scriptures in that relations between a man and man or a woman and woman is wrong If there are churches that are sliding into...  More >>

You should not be playing politics while ignoring those problems. I and many others are deeply disgusted by the blatent disregard our elected representatives seem to be publicly displaying about problems that affect our future. As for the rumors that this has been done to...  More >>
As a concerned citizen, I am concerned about efforts to pass legislation that creates special rights based on sexual orientation that would result in criminalizing beliefs that oppose pedophilia, polygamy and the homosexual rights agenda. I am especially concerned about Bill S 909 introduced into the Senate as the Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009. I feel that the U.S. Constitution - Amendments 13-15 are sufficient to...  More >>

I am writing in regard to California's Proposition 8, as well as to the issue of gay marriage. There are two distinct reasons why I believe it is wrong. First, when you cease to define marriage as between one man and one woman based on the feelings of “who you love” you cease to define it at all. One who understands argumentation will follow their argument to its fullest possibilities. If we vote yes for gay...  More >>
I am writing to make known my outrage that the San Diego mayor and City Council members have decided to officially oppose Proposition 8 through a resolution on behalf of the citzens of San Diego. I am a citzen of San Diego that does not share your opinion, nor do millions of other citzens, so please do not taken it upon yourself to vote for us. This is not the role of the mayor or city council on an issue such as...  More >>
