Surprising enough I don't usually do this type of thing, BUT, I must say something or I am going to bust. I was coming back home to Kentucky from Texas the week end after Easter. It was such a beautiful ride through Texas and Arkansas with everything in bloom and all so fresh looking. It dawned on me, once we crossed the border into Kentucky, the beauty of spring had turned into such an ugly site. I just was in awe...  More >>

Recently in the media there has been much attention to BPI's LFTB product. I don't think I am alone when I say I had no prior knowledge that the ground beef I have been buying in my local grocery stores have contained this additive. But I am very upset as a consumer that this LFTB could find its way into the ground beef I buy without being labeled as such.. I know how hamburger is made and it is not natural for it to...  More >>

I was sent this article by a friend this came out of the Canadian free press. Is there really happening? See: Government takeover of the Land of the Free? This Executive Order was posted on the WhiteHouse.gov web site on Friday, March 16, 2012, under the name National Defense Resources Preparedness. In a nutshell, it’s the blueprint for Peacetime Martial Law and it gives the president the power to take just about...  More >>

The issue of the BLM rounding up the wild mustangs from western public lands is very grave. It is costing taxpayers huge amounts of money to warehouse these horses and causing much distress to the horses and burros. They were supposed to be able to live freely on public lands by Act of Congress in 1971. The BLM is pandering to cattlemen, miners and drillers who want the horses off the lands. Demand that the BLM change...  More >>

I have just found out that the BLM has gotten their budget increase. How is it that a group with failed policies gets more money and groups doing good for the country get their budgets slashed???!!! Now the BLM can continue to cruelly roundup our wild mustangs and put them in holding pens for months and years at taxpayer expense. None of this makes sense and I am so disappointed in those voting for the budget increase...  More >>

As a U.S. citizen I am requesting that the Bureau of Land Management and the Dept. of the Interior not be given an increase in funds for the coming fiscal year due to their squandering of money related to the wild mustand round up fiasco. They still have to take care of the thousands of horses that they have in corrals in the West. They have been using the excuse that the public lands cannot support the horses and then...  More >>

The Bureau of Land Management is currently asking that its budget be raised. For quite a few years the BLM has been removing our wild mustangs from the public lands where the mustangs were to have the right to roam freely by the 1971 Act of Congress. The public, including school children who wrote letters to Congress, was very much behind the legislation to protect this American icon. We owe it to the horse as horses...  More >>

Dear Representative Conyers: Thank you so much for introducing HR 503 - Prevention of Equine Cruelty Act of 2009. You and all the cosponsors are truly humanitarians who can recognize the cruel and needless exploitation of another living being in the name of greed. I am curious about the status of the bill at this time. I understand that this version has reached its two year "expiration date" and has been...  More >>
