To whom it may concern:
Synonymous
Once upon a
time, in a land far, far away, where young people respected their elders, a
land where honor and integrity was foremost in the hearts and ways of the people. Truth and justice was the way of business and
most of the people did the most right thing at all times.
Then unawares to the people, wolves
put on sheep’s clothing and wormed their way into the educational system and
then into the government itself and passed laws against truth and justice. Right was replaced with wrong. Honor was replaced with the A-moral ethical
standard. They claimed to love God but
kept none of his ways. Slowly but surely
the people became numb to the corruption and accepted things as just the way
things are.
Then one day the young people
accepted the premise that it wasn’t cheating if you didn’t get caught. By this time the educational system had
become a hollow shell that warehoused children rather than teach them.
Almost half of the people received
government checks and fully expecting the other half to support them. With only half of the people rowing the boat
it started going in circles, the leaders of the government kept insisting that
everything was alright. The only problem
was that the people needed to row faster.
The government would shout “row faster” everything is fine, no worries.
The faster the people rowed the tighter the circles became until a whirlpool was
created and pulled the boat down drowning everyone.
Our republic is in distress and we
have become so selfish that we feel that it is not really our problem to fix. Our educational system has moved from
teaching our children to think into a perverse stagnant faction that believes
it needs to instruct them as to what to think.
Our political leaders are, by enlarge, so corrupt that for the most part
they’re self-serving pirates plundering the tax payers.
There is nothing good to say about our
educational system, it’s broke. There is
nothing good to say about our political system it’s broke. We
need to go back to the future. When you
discover you’re lost in the wilderness you need to turn 180 degrees and start
backtracking and as you begin to recognize the ground upon which you stand
confidence returns and you will find your way back to safety. The 180 degree turn is the most important
part of the solution and the sooner you decide to turn around, the quicker you
return to a safe environment.
The politicians can’t fix the
problem because they are the problem.
Career politician and career criminal are the same, not all, some
criminals are reformed and I believe some politicians can be also, not all, but
some perhaps.
The answer is voter induced term
limits. Vote them out. No retirement off tax dollars, not for
politicians, and not for federal workers, let them fund their retirement out of
their overly fat salaries.
When in doubt…Vote them Out!
