To whom it may concern:

I'd liked to first start off and thank you for your services you've personally have shown the State of Missouri. My name is Melissa Kingery age 30, I'm a widow with 2 small children. My husband was killed in a rollover accident in November of 2011. We had medical insurance with his employer up to the day of his passing. They send me papers for CObra insurance if we wanted to keep Cobra but I can't afford almost $1500. a month for Cobra so I turned it down. First all I'd like to say that is outrageous. So I signed my children up for Misssouri medicaid and they quialified for it at the cost of $112. a month. I have no problem with that.So I also applied for medicaid and they denied me because if the survior benefits I get from my husbands Social Security. I've also been following Obama's insurance act that he is trying to get passed of if you don't have insurance that are going to try to fine us for not having insurance. So I got in contact with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City MO. And they tell I don't quailify because I've had to have my colon removed 7 years ago due to PRE CANCEROUS Polyps throughout the whole colon. Now I've got to go back every 2 years and have what they call an EGD done which is is where they look down into the stomach to see if there is any polyps that have started in the stomach. On top of that they also told me because I'm over weight, weight 275 tp 280. It disquailified me as well. So What am I suppose to do when I can't get insurance and I've got Asthma and other medical issue that if left untreated could possibly leave children orphans?
