To whom it may concern:

Nancy Pelosi is once again shown for the lying political female dog that she is.  First stating that she new nothing about the water boarding of terrorists and yet did nothing. Then changing that to “the bush administration” did not inform her but tried to mislead her. All the while trying to drum up anti Republican sentiment because of waterboarding. It is time for her removal as speaker of the house. This just proves how stupid the woman actually is by such an obvious mistake as to get caught in a lie with actual public documentation of her words. Perhaps it is just her arrogance in expecting the notorious short memory of the American public to camouflage her lies instead her stupidity. At any rate:

Perhaps one of you yet to be caught liars and political dogs in training can put a bug in the ear of the PTB idiots in California if they can put down their doobies or, step out of the bathhouse for half a second or take some time out from screwing illegal Mexican immigrants out of their hard won American “entitlement” program checks, they might be able to recall Pelosi’ ass as well as their illustrious idiot “Govenator.”

I want my America back

Regardless of my views on Nancy Pelosi, I don't think calling her a "dog" is really going to get very many people to listen to you.

Daria.....You are absolutely right! Did you at least get a giggle out of the related issues line?

Agree with Daria, there should've been a better way to present the same story (which is horrible but unsurprising--she ain't the first one to be caught lying in public speaches).

If we won't put our foot down now, in San Francisco on June 3, it will just continue as more of the same and worse, of that you can be sure. She needs to go and it won't happen without public outcry and support of removal!

Nanycy Pelosi's lies keep shifting as she learns they're not working. Reminds me of a young child denying they've raided the cookie jar despite their face being covered with crumbs and chocolate chips.

Phydo, when people are attacking the style of the letter, instead of the intent, you know there's no arguing. Of course Pelosi isn't the first to be caught lying, just the latest. Pretty high ranking one too. Now we'll see if the normal double standard still applies. When a republican lies he's out. If dems are caught lying, other dems just rally around them until the issue goes away and they keep their job.

Funny...BennyBoy seems to forget all about Republicans like Larry Craig who was not accused of lying, but of actually breaking the law, and then allowed to retire in his own sweet time rather than get the boot. He's right about one thing...there is always a double standard in Washington, DC. That double-standard, however, crosses the political aisle every single day. It's far from being just a Democrat problem, and the sooner Republicans understand this the sooner they might turn things around politically. Until then, they'll keep on blindly throwing stones in the glass houses they've built, scratching their heads wondering all the while why the house is crumbling around them.

I think that is one of the qualifications to hold a position in any office is you must be able to lie.

Yeah if you're a politician and you're gonna lie (which you are) at least don't get caught. That way we can all keep up the farce that our government is fine.

Although I agree with some of your thoughts about Pelosi, your letter is terrible. Stop being so angry or no one will take you seriously. Lots of politicians are caught in lies, it's better than them getting away with it.

Having an idiot lying President for 8 years didn't bother you but name calling and calling Nancy Pelosi a liar for the Bush Adminstration did angers you. I don't know what your America is but don't ask me to come along!

All that aside, there is no way to legally remove her. Thats just as crazy as getting bush impeached was.

It is letters like this that cause people to look away from the real issue. She is gathering as much hatred toward as any House Speaker I can remember. But it needs to be approached on a factual basis.

The united states should not torture. Ever. Speaker Pelosi has proven her intelligence, moral rectitude and general political adeptness repeatedly. It's not your America, it's ours.

...WOW....just wow. Any sympathy towards your cause is gone. The absolute arrogance, rudeness and flat out blanket statements for a member of congress is unacceptable. This is hate speech plain and simple. A veiled attempt to call her a bitch is just ridiculous. If you can't be expected to elevate your discourse how is it appropriate to say that others should be any better than those they represent. I think she fits the bill for you perfectly.

If you wanted anyone to take your letter seriously, you could at least have done without the second paragraph.

While this letter is a bit harsh, i agree with the point. Nancy Pelosi is reacting like every other guilty politician in history, i actually watched her speech where she changed it from "i had no idea" to 'oh yeah i kinda knew, but not really" and i realized she's a terrible liar, which is a bit suprising, her being a politician and all. I think its stupid that we force politicians to step down for something like indulging in a prostitute, which has absolutely jack to do with governing a city, yet here we are with the speaker of the house blatantly lying to the entire nation.

Ah, just as you are expecting the notorious short memory of the American people to wipe away 8 years of lies, subversion, and ineptitude on the part of the Republican administration? You might have some good points here but they are drowned out by your venom.
timhood,  on 06/12/2009 @ 03:13 PM  wrote:
You don't seriously think the Bush administration went around telling everyone about what kind of torture was going on in Gitmo, do you? Certainly not the *HOUSE LEADER* of his opposing party! Nancy Pelosi is no more a lying politician than the Republicans that held her political position before her. Did you call for them to be removed as well, or is this just a partisan attack?

Political commentary like this isn't good for anyone. It's very easy to criticize a politician, and it's even easier to call someone names, but neither are a proven or effective method of reform.

Even though I agree with you in your points I think you're going about it wrong with name-calling. Being polite and courteous gets you farther in life.

Nancy Pelosi is an embarrassment on so many levels. Her anti-Bush rhetoric makes me sick because the last time I checked we have a new administration - not one that I particularly agree with - but Bush is gone. Get over it! It's amateur hour at the White House and we're stuck with Pelosi and everyone else for at least another three years and 200 and some days.

When noting that someone is an 'idiot' in a place like this, it's actually rather helpful to avoid actually calling them an idiot. All anger, nothing solid to back it up with sadly.

Whether or not she is what you say she is, it is unacceptable to attack someone in office--or anyone for that matter-- with such ignorant hate speech. This letter would be a more appropriate private rant over some Coors Lights at a Monster Truck rally.
