If this guy does not answer mail, why are we paying him as a member of your staff?

Subject: Obama Economic Recovery Program Appropriations

Pete I have a small business in Destin Florida. I have an interest in the Obama Economic Recovery Program. We would like to get two submissions into the appropriation activities for these new funds. Would it be possible to meet with Rep Miller the next time he is in the area.

Hopeful,

It is horrible that our government officials and their staffs are so hard to contact. There needs to be a better solution for us as citizens having access to our elected officials.

I am assuming that this is your Congressman and Pete is his aide. Consider the number of e-mails and letters this guy has to go through on a daily basis. I would bet that you will get a response and if it is not timely for you make a call to to the Congressman's office and talk with someone and explain the situation and your disappointment in not getting a response. this must be done with respect because anything else will not get you far.

Folks got to take advantage of everything the administration has to offer. That's why it's there.

It is very annoying to never actually get in touch with someone, but rather waiting & hoping that they actually read your letter. They pick & choose what to respond to personally, but I think they need to make it a high priority to try to answer everyone's questions. Hell, companies gets hundreds of customer service emails, which are responded to--maybe not in the same day, but they are answered. Ridiculous.

Your email should be answered in a timely manner, how long did it take to get a response? I would consider calling also.
